Fostering
In 2020, God called Barry and Christina to become foster parents. They were passionate about creating a safe place and loving arms for children. They began their journey by joining Foster Friends at Woodlands Church to support other foster families. In 2022, they began life as foster parents where they in turn benefitted from Foster Friends. While they were only able to foster for a short time, Christina regularly spoke about the importance of foster and respite care.
Woodlands Church Foster Friends
Christina and Barry benefited from Woodland’s Foster Friends program while they had placements and would like to pass the generosity forward. Foster Friends creates Care Communities to surround each foster family at our church with a meal once a week, childcare and prayer. If you’re willing and able, please consider donating to this ministry in honor of Christina.
